The Legal Practice Hub
The Legal Practice Hub complements The City Law School’s mission as a site of excellence in legal research and education. The Hub supports profession-focused scholars, practitioners, researchers and others to share expertise and to provide opportunities for interdisciplinary work at a time of rapid development in law and legal practice.
The Hub promotes the incorporation of high-quality research and scholarship into professional practice and education. This is done through support for profession-focused research and scholarship, as well as seminars, lectures and other activities in which practitioners and academics exchange insights on legal professional practice.
The Hub focuses on a number of key areas of professional practice, each area having its own subject group:

- Criminal Litigation and Sentencing
- Evidence and Proof
- Legal Education
- Legal Ethics
- Legal Technology
The Legal Technology Group are:

Susan Blake is the Convenor of the Alternative Dispute Resolution group. Susan is also the Course Director for the LLM Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution and teaches on the Bar Vocational Studies Course. Susan has written professionally focused books on alternative dispute resolution and on civil litigation.
