Holiday and Examination weeks
- Christmas: 21st December 2026 – 1st January 2027
- Easter: 26th March – 2nd April 2027
- Examination week year 1: w/c 21st June 2027
- Examination week year 2: w/c 31st May 2027
GP
- Wednesdays in specific blocks
- Term 1: Wednesday 11 November to Wednesday 16 December 2026
- Term 2: Wednesday 27th January to Wednesday 24th March 2027
- Term 3: Wednesday 7th April to Wednesday 19th May 2027
- Year 2: 9 weeks full time (Monday to Friday).
Secondary Care
- Monday 14th September 2026 to Friday 23rd July 2027.
- AMU Block 1: 14.09.26 to13.11.26; AMU Block 2: 16.11.26 to 29.01.27 (including Christmas Break 21.12.26 to 01.01.27)
- ED Block 1: 14.09.26 to 23.10.26; ED Block 2: 16.11.26 to 08.01.27 (including Christmas Break 21.12.26 to 01.01.27)
- Full time: Monday to Friday (a recommended attendance of minimum 35 hours per week).
- Please note that we do not expect students to attend Bank Holidays unless they have agreed with their supervisor to remediate any absences.
- Year 2: Study days to be confirmed
- ILS training: To be confirmed. Your student will confirm which date they will be absent.
