Academic year 2025/2026
- Examination week year 1: w/c 29 June 2026
- Examination week year 2: w/c 8 June 2026
Holiday and examination weeks
- Holiday and examination weeks Christmas: 22 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (2 weeks inclusively). Students return on Monday 5 January 2026.
- Easter: 3 April to 12 April 2026 (1 week inclusively). Students return on Monday 23 April 2026.
- Examination week Year 1 (placement attendance in optional): to be confirmed.
- Examination week Year 2 (students do not attend placement): to be confirmed.
GP
- Year 1: Wednesdays in specific blocks
- Term 1: Wednesday 12 November to Wednesday 17 December 2025
- Term 2: Wednesday 4 February to Wednesday 1 April 2026
- Term 3: Wednesday 15 April to Wednesday 10 June 2026
- Year 2: 9 weeks full time (Monday to Friday) to each student.
Secondary Care
- Monday 8 September 2025 to Friday 24 July 2026.
- Full time, Monday to Friday (a recommended attendance of minimum 35 hours per week).
- Please note that we do not expect students to attend on Bank Holidays unless they have agreed with their supervisor to remediate any absences.
- Year 2: Study days and examination dates – to be confirmed
- ILS training – to be confirmed. Your student will confirm which date they will be absent.
