Advancing Midwifery Practice: Facilitating Group Antenatal Care

(10 day professional development course)

This midwifery course offers teaching in the latest theoretical and clinical developments in group care provision and is facilitated by clinical and academic experts who are researching and working with this area.

Applicants would normally be expected to have been practicing in maternity care for a minimum of one year.

Pregnancy Circles one day workshop: Learn to facilitate Group Care

This bespoke workshop was developed to support the implementation of Pregnancy Circles and Parenting Circles across the NHS.

After attending this workshop you will have a good understanding of the group care (Pregnancy Circles/Parenting Circles) model of care and have considered implementation challenges and opportunities. You will have enhanced your group facilitation skills in a range of contexts and you will receive a certificate as a group care facilitator.

This course is suitable for Midwives, Health Visitors, Family Support workers, Maternity Support Workers, Parent Education practitioners or anybody interested in Group Care.
