Opportunities for students to get involved

If you are a City St George's student and would like to know more about these opportunities, or CJR's work more generally, please email us: CJR@citystgeorges.ac.uk

The City Law School Innocence Project

The Innocence Project is a free, confidential, LawWorks service, offering advice and assistance to victims of miscarriages of justice. As part of The City Law School Innocence project, students will support clients in drafting applications to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) under the supervision of qualified criminal lawyers. Students are provided with a learning experience that is difficult to replicate in a classroom setting. Through their work on cases they will gain practical insight, beyond the textbook, into the workings of the criminal justice system.

Our events

CJR runs a programme of events to foster debate on vital legal and criminal justice policy issues. We welcome students at our events and encourage you to actively participate - it's a great chance to be part of the debate and start building your networks. Please email us to be added to our Events mailing list: CJR@citystgeorges.ac.uk
