PhD/MPhil Psychology and Social Neuroscience
This multi-site PhD provides the opportunity to deepen your expertise in psychology, whilst exploring the emerging field of social neuroscience.
You’ll investigate a range of topics in cognitive, social and affective neuroscience. You will be working alongside leading researchers from City, University London and Sapienza Universita di Roma. You’ll benefit from access to research expertise and facilities in both institutions, which have been paired due to the complementary nature of their resources.

PhD/MPhil Psychology
The Psychology PhD/MPhil offers you the chance to develop a substantial and original body of new research involving the discovery of new facts or through the reformulation of existing frameworks.
You will join an established department with a history of pioneering research. We have a commitment to the traditions of the discipline and a clear vision of good research practice in Psychology.
We support a vibrant community of researchers and provide expert supervision on a range of specialist subjects. Current strengths include cognitive neuroscience, decision making and behavioural economics.
